Our amazing logo was designed by 6th grader Izabelle Allen.

Tickets: $10 (includes shirt) on sale at lunch only beginning Feb. 16th (cash and credit cards accepted)

The nominating committee is beginning to meet soon to create the slate for next school year’s PTO board.

The committee is also looking for volunteers to chair events, serve as liaisons and help with activities as they happen during the school year.

Show Some Love

The Pershing UIL team competed on Saturday, January 29th, at Carnegie High school. All our students qualified for Districts later this spring!

Contests at the March 5th meet include: Listening, Number Sense, Ready Writing, Editorial Writing, Mathematics, Science, Calculator Apps, Chess Puzzle and Modern Oratory.

Lamar High School Course Selection for

Rising 9^th Grade Zoned Students

Future Texans!

Lamar will offer two virtual course selection events for Rising 9^th grade students who are zoned to Lamar. These virtual events will be held through Microsoft Teams, and you will select your courses using a Google Form which will open on January 31^st. You do not need to attend an information meeting to complete course selection.

We will ask that you register for one of these events (Monday, January 31st 5:30pm – 6:30pm OR Tuesday, February 15^th 5:30pm – 6:30pm) using this link: https://forms.gle/riPS991yb1cmJgUX7

You will receive additional information and a Microsoft Teams link a few days before your selected meeting. We will offer additional course selection events in March and April for students who are approved for a transfer to Lamar and for zoned students who cannot attend one of the dates above. If you have any questions please reach out to our Admissions Coordinator, Casey Titus.
