This new year brings lots of exciting changes and opportunities in our Pershing community. Rachel Green has stepped down from her PTO duties. We thank her for her service. I was voted into the president position on January 7 and look forward to leading the PTO into a fantastic Spring!
We have some fun activities already planned!
We will have a school-wide Family Movie Night on January 28th (details to follow).

Joshua Guzman placed 1st in the
2022 City of Houston Middle School Wrestling Championships 150 lb weight division.
Joshua went 2-0.
In his finals match, Joshua pinned his opponent in the 2nd round by way of Half Nelson.
A big thank you to two of our Panda Partners for providing breakfasts to Pershing before the holiday break! The ‘401 generously sponsored breakfast for around 60 PTO members who attended the principal’s breakfast, and Chick-fil-A sponsored a year-end holiday breakfast for teachers and staff.
