Fall Calendar

Hospitality Committee

Our Fall Fundraiser is underway! Your participation is vital to the continued success of CMM. Your child brought home a Yankee Candle Fundraising packet on Monday, August 27. Please look through the catalog - there are many options in addition to candles. This is a great opportunity to get some holiday shopping done while supporting CMM at the same time!

All catalog orders and money must be returned by  Friday, September 14.  You can also shop online, and encourage your family members to do the same. Orders placed online are paid for online and shipped directly to the customer.  Go to  and enter group # 990096989.  Online orders will be accepted through  January 10. Please contact Elba Hamilton at or 214.755.7132 with any questions.

Our PTSA Board invites YOU to join!

CMM has a very active PTSA, and we encourage all parents and students to become a member of this great organization. We maintain partnerships with the faculty and staff at CMM and community leaders in order to provide our children with the best possible education experience. In addition to providing funding to the school for technology needs, PTSA sponsors events such as Colonial Days, Mardi Gras Ball, Renaissance Faire, Stallion Camp, Teacher Appreciation Week, and many more. Without your support, none of this would be possible.

Please fill out  this form and turn it and your $6 per membership in to the office, or  click here to purchase your membership online.

Please contact Amy Watts at or (318) 347-8939 if you have any questions.

We have three remaining Faculty &  Staff  Luncheons  on November 13th,   March 1, a nd  May (TBD).   The Hosp itality Committee is right at 100 strong, so we hope everyone has an opportunity to participate in one of our remaining luncheons.  THANK YOU to all the volunteers who cooked, brought items, set up and served at the Back to School Breakfast.  You were a key part in welcoming the teachers and staff back to CMM!

Principal's Message

Welcome Stallions to the 2018-2019 school year! We are all so excited to begin a new year. Caddo Middle Magnet has been a busy place this summer with upgrades to our facilities, new paintings around the building, welcoming new staff, and implementing lots of new programs.

Colonial Day

The 30th annual Colonial Days celebration will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 1pm for 7th graders and their parents only. Be thinking about a costume for your child!

Parent volunteers are needed with set up, decorating, clean up, monitoring activities, monitoring classrooms, selling food and drinks, and donating baked goods for the cake walk. Be on the lookout for information regarding volunteering for this event through SignUp Genius.

If you would like to contact the committee chairs, here is their information:  Alyson Foreman ( or Susan Poirier ( ).
