Our Fall Fundraiser is underway! Your participation is vital to the continued success of CMM. Your child brought home a Yankee Candle Fundraising packet on Monday, August 27. Please look through the catalog - there are many options in addition to candles. This is a great opportunity to get some holiday shopping done while supporting CMM at the same time!
All catalog orders and money must be returned by

Welcome Back! I want to welcome new and returning families to Caddo Middle Magnet. CMM is truly a remarkable school to be at and I can't believe that my son is beginning his last year here as a Stallion.

CMM has a very active PTSA, and we encourage all parents and students to become a member of this great organization. We maintain partnerships with the faculty and staff at CMM and community leaders in order to provide our children with the best possible education experience. In addition to providing funding to the school for technology needs, PTSA sponsors events such as Colonial Days, Mardi Gras Ball, Renaissance Faire, Stallion Camp, Teacher Appreciation Week, and many more. Without your support, none of this would be possible.

The
PTSA Hospitality Committee kicked off the school year by hosting a Faculty & Staff Back to School Breakfast on Friday, August 10th. Egg and sausage casserole, cheese grits, fruit, muffins, orange juice, water and coffee were served to welcome back our awesome staff. Five lucky door prize winners won an assortment of brightly colored Flair pens as we "Look forward to a Remarkable Year".

Principal's Message
Welcome Stallions to the 2018-2019 school year! We are all so excited to begin a new year. Caddo Middle Magnet has been a busy place this summer with upgrades to our facilities, new paintings around the building, welcoming new staff, and implementing lots of new programs.

Colonial Day
The 30th annual Colonial Days celebration will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 1pm for 7th graders and their parents only. Be thinking about a costume for your child!
Parent volunteers are needed with set up, decorating, clean up, monitoring activities, monitoring classrooms, selling food and drinks, and donating baked goods for the cake walk. Be on the lookout for information regarding volunteering for this event through SignUp Genius.
