MESSAGE FROM THE PTSO PRESIDENTS

Principal's Coffee, Friday 11/30 @ 9:00am,
WHS Faculty Dining Room
Join Dr. Chisum on Friday the 30th for a community discussion.  We will view the Active Shooter video that was shown to students last month, discuss the NEASC accreditation currently underway at the high school, and watch the Friday Morning Announcements.   All are welcome!

Career Connections - Can you help?
Are you a Back Stage Manager?  A Rocket Scientist?  An Artist?    Do you own your own business?  The  PTSO is looking for help from our parent/guardian community to support the WHS Guidance Department in its continuing efforts to provide students with information about potential careers and jobs.  Specifically, we are reaching out to those in our community who have a unique, distinctive or one of a kind job.  Do you hold such a job?  Would you be willing to help our students by sharing with them information on your unique position?  We are still in the process of determining exactly how this information will be shared with students but if you are open to helping us, please let us know by sending an email to Connie Burton, WHS PTSO, Co-Vice President, at  whsptsovps@gmail.com

Giving Tuesday!
Did your annual contribution to the PTSO get delayed or forgotten?  It's not too late!  Click here to help us support WHS parents, teachers & students.  Thank you!

Please contact us with any questions or suggestions. whsptsopres@gmail.com

SHOW YOUR SCHOOL SPIRIT

Thanksgiving Day - The Oldest Public High School Rivalry!! Congratulations to the girls in the Powderpuff game and the boys in the Football game last week. Tough games in even tougher weather!

Awesome job as well by the intrepid Pep Band who did their best to show school spirit with frigid fingers, brass valves frozen shut and woodwind reeds warping.

Thanks also to all parents and families for supporting the All School Breakfast on 11/21!

Is there a special event or activity you would like parents to know more about? Contact us at whsptsopres@gmail.com and help us build school spirit.
