Palm Sunday
It’s the sixth Sunday of Lent. Join us this weekend for Palm Sunday Worship. We will remember the significance of how and where Jesus entered Jerusalem. We  will “palm” the cross. The scriptures are Psalm 118; Luke 19:28-38 and Mark 11:1-11 with a sermon entitled Power Play . We will ready ourselves for Holy Week. Please do check out the list of worship opportunities for next week.

Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias News
Vascular Dementia occurs when there are blood vessel issues. They may be all over the body, clots, hemorrhages, strokes, etc. Common risks include smoking, high cholesterol, hypertension, diabetes, or a combination of issues. Often, they are largely rehabilitated. Yet, there can be subtle changes in the brain. It could be diagnosed as Micro Vascular Disease. It may include some normal aging in people aged 60-85 and over, or be more progressive. It occurs without the spinal fluid markers nor amyloid buildup of Alzheimer’s. It takes an experienced clinician to diagnose this as it is not as clear cut between Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer’s as was previously thought.
