Saturday, April 15 | 9:30-11:45am | Queeny Park: 550 Weidman Rd, Ballwin
Help round out our team of ten as we pack some food for hungry kids very far from here.
This requires standing for two hours.
Many PUCCers have done this event in the past.
Why not come again -- or try it for the first time?
Let kevin@parkwayucc.org know you are interested.
WE STILL HAVE SPOTS FOR 4 MORE PEOPLE
We will meet there at Queeny just prior to our shift so we can sit together for the training and work together packing.

Join us this Sunday, April 16, at 10am in person or on Facebook Live – or anytime later on Facebook
Although it has been a week since Easter, the gospel lesson for this week (John 20:19-31) has us at the end of Easter day when Jesus comes to be with the disciples. Thomas isn’t among them. What does he think and feel when he returns and hears about the visit? What does Jesus do about it? How does this impact our faith today?
We will sing Halle Halle, Christ is Alive, Every Morning is Easter Morning, When Thomas Heard from Jesus, The Climate is Changing and Song of Hope.

Spring Church School: Sharing God's Light & Love | |
Spring finds us celebrating and learning about many special days such as, Palm Sunday, Easter, Earth Day, Mothers’ Day, and Pentecost. This Gather Round curriculum centers around the theme of God’ Light and Love shining through us and calling us to share that Love with others.
Our youth are exploring and discussing questions centered around justice, grace, and gratitude as we pilot a new curriculum: Faith Questions.
Nursery Help!
We are refreshing our substitute caregiver list for the Nursery on Sunday mornings. Please let kevin@parkwayucc.org know if you are interested and we will contact you about making sure we have your current background check on file. Thanks for loving our children and families!

PUCC Youth Road Trip to Elephant Rocks
LAST CHANCE TO VOTE ON SCHEDULING! A date will be scheduled this week. One of Missouri’s most interactive state parks, Elephant Rocks is a giant pile of pink granite boulders just begging to be climbed on. The youth will be heading to the park, near Middle Brook, Missouri, about 90 minutes south of the church, in April or May. Take a moment to vote in this Doodle poll — https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/boZN8NBa — to indicate which Saturday or Sunday works best for the youth(s) in your house. We’ll pick a main date and a rain date based on when the most youth can attend.
Departure times will be 10:00am on Saturday or 11:15am (immediately after church) on Sunday. Pack a sack lunch, your climbing shoes, and plenty of water. We’ll return 6-7 hours after departure.
Are you a parent interested in driving or tagging along? Join in the poll yourself! Need more information? Contact Brad Lyons at brad@bradlyons.net.

I found this when I was pondering the disciple Thomas. Sometimes doubt is a gift and sometimes it seems more like a curse. It can be seen in very different ways.

Inspiration
For so many years I lived in constant terror of myself. Doubt had married my fear and moved into my mind, where it built castles and ruled kingdoms and reigned over me, bowing my will to its whispers until I was little more than an acquiescing peon, too terrified to disobey, too terrified to disagree. I had been shackled, a prisoner in my own mind.
But finally, finally, I have learned to break free. ~Tahereh Mafi

Humor:
Easter is the only time of the year when it's perfectly safe to put all your eggs in one basket.
Easter is a time for dressing up, looking your best, and hunting for candy. It’s Halloween in reverse!
Easter shopping tip: When buying your daughter that frilly new Easter dress, try to visualize how it'll look with chocolate and grass stains all over it.

Saturday, April 29 | 8:30pm-3:00pm
Westminster Christian Academy -- 800 Maryville Centre Dr, Chesterfield, MO
Being an “Athlete Buddy” at the Special Olympics Track and Field Day is the most rewarding volunteer job of all time! You will be paired directly with 1-2 athletes. PUCC has committed to sending 10 Athlete Buddies.
(PUCC kids/youth under 16 can do with this their parent or other adult)
