Interfaith Intertwine with our Jewish and Muslim friends.
It’s our second virtual cooking class! Leyla Sariyerlioglu from TASOM (Turkish American Society of Missouri) will be teaching us to bake Kandil Simidi -- Sesame Bagel Rings. While they are baking, we will enjoy live Turkish music and hear about Ramadan as our Muslim friends from TASOM and other communities around the globe are observing Ramadan this month! Worship with us at 10am – live in the flesh outdoors out back at church, on Facebook Live or on YouTube by early afternoon. Our scriptures are the story of the Ascension from Luke 24:44-53 and Acts 1:1-11 when Jesus rises up into heaven and he commissions the disciples to go share the good news around the world.
