Christian Encounters Class
The Christian Encounter Sunday School class will begin a new four week study on May 10 “How to be Rich, It’s Not What You Have It’s What You Do With What You Have” by Andy Stanley. The class meets at 9:30 in Rm 114-C.
If you are unable to attend in person there is a Zoom link available. For more information, please contact Lisa & John Bennett.

From the book description:
“You probably don't feel rich. Rich is the other guy. Rich is having more than you currently have. But you can be rich and not feel it. And that's the problem. Andy Stanley is convinced that most of us are richer than we think. We just aren't very good at it. It's one thing to BE rich. Andy wants us to be GOOD at it! How to Be Rich lays out clear principles for carrying that load, making sure your wealth remains a blessing not just for you, but for your family and community for generations to come."

We will have staff and/or trained volunteers available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-3pm through May 21 to assist with set up. Group leaders are encouraged to stop in or set up a time to meet with Cathy to learn how to use Realm effectively to communicate within your group.

Note of Thanks
Dear PUMC family,
It means so much to have the love and support of our church and church family as I finish up my first year of classes at Sandhills. I'm so incredibly grateful I get to be a part of such a special community. The gifts you continue to send during exams mean the world.
Thank you,

Missions Responds to a Community Need
Two weeks ago we received a request for blankets, sheets, pillows and/or towels for new students at Sandhills Adult and Teen Challenge. The mission team responded by providing 26 sets of sheets, comforters, pillows and towels. Thanks to your continous support of our Missions Ministry we are able to respond with generosity when a need arises in our community.

Thanks from Sandhills Adult and Teen Challenge
Dear PUMC Family,
Thank you for your generous donation of bed linens and towels. Your kindness and support mean more than words can express. These items will be a great blessing in welcoming new students in our program. It is through acts of generosity like yours that we are able to continue making a meaningful impact in the lives of those working toward recovery and restoration.
