July 1, 2022
As Methodists, we are called to cultivate more disciples and deeper disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of our community and world. You are invited to join us on the journey.
This week
Join Us for Worship
What do you do when you’re not sure of what a thing is, or what something means? You Google it, of course! The world has been changing at a rapid pace over the past 30 years, mainly because of advances in technology. Information (or misinformation) can be gained in a moment’s notice.
Often times, our internet search engines present us with answers to questions that seem right, but may not be right from the perspective of a people of faith. In our new sermon series Google It! we will compare and contrast the ways this popular internet tool aligns with the Holy Scriptures.

Looking Ahead

Strategic Investment Plan
Pinehurst UMC has a Strategic Investment Fund held by the United Methodist Foundation. This money is set aside for future major programs such as a possible new sanctuary or additional classrooms. The current balance is $88,351. Should we ever run on “hard times” meeting current obligations we can draw on this account without penalty. The investment is safe, ethically sound, and has a much better return than bonds or interest-bearing checking accounts. Click here to learn how to contribute personal stock to this program.
Connections Adult Class
The Connections adult class will not meet this Sunday, July 3. The class will begin a new study, The Call by Adam Hamilton, on Sunday, July 17. The class meets directly after the Connections service in Room 117. Newcomers and guests are welcome anytime!

For more info, contact Emil Johnson.
