Chocolate Festival Meeting

Please join us for a Chocolate Festival meeting at 1pm on Wednesday, December 4 to see how you can be a part of this beloved community outreach project benefiting Kind Souls, Family Promise of Moore County, and the Sandhills/Moore County Coalition for Human Care. 

We have new Chocolate Festival Tee Shirts for 2025. You can place your order and include your $15.00 payment, cash or check at the meeting. Last day to order T-Shirts is Sunday, Dec. 8.

Christmas Choir Concert

Make plans to attend our annual Christmas Concert featuring the PUMC Choir with orchestra.

Brimming with fresh arrangements of favorite carols, the concert has reflective moments,

both triumphant and tender, that celebrate the Christmas story.

Angel Tree 2024

Angel gifts are due to the church by Dec. 8 and can be dropped off during regular office hours or on Sunday mornings. Please be sure to wrap all of your gifts and label each gift with your angel's name and number.

Habitat Build Day

The last UMM Habitat for Humanity workday for 2024 is on Friday, December 13 from 8 am to 1 pm. Volunteers can use the Sandhills Habitat for Humanity website to sign up or contact Bob Mustard for more details. UMM organizes this effort but spouses, friends and neighbors are all welcome to come and help.

Free Movie & Pizza Night

PUMC will be showing “Buddy: This Is My Story” on Saturday, December 14 at 6pm. “Buddy: This Is My Story”, is a new feature film by Burlington, NC based Cornelius Muller Productions. Cornelius is a good friend of Barry and Sheila Oakes. After the film Cornelius will be here to tell his story of how God’s plan for him is to create faith based movies. Free pizza will be served prior to the film. The community is welcome to attend!

Christmas Eve Volunteers

Sign up the next 2 Sundays to volunteer to make the Fair Barn Christmas Eve services successful. There's a place for everyone! Sign up using the insert in Sunday's bulletin or contact the church office with your preferred service time (3, 5, or 7pm) and preferred job (usher, greeter, communion server, or parking attendant).

Journey to the Barn

Make plans to join us for one of the Christmas Eve services at the Fair Barn.

Family Service at 3pm

Communion & Candlelight services at 5pm and 7pm

The Christmas Eve offering will go to Moore Free and Charitable Clinic this year.

Prayer Shawl Sunday was a great success! Thank you to all who were able to take a Prayer Shawl to give to someone in need. However, our inventory is now depleted and we are working to replenish the supply.

Our goal is spread God’s Love through this ministry of knitting and crocheting. You don’t have to attend meetings to participate! Project ideas and patterns can be provided.

Pinehurst UMC has a Hearing Loop. The system provides clear sound directly to hearing aids with a t-coil. If you do not have a t-coil, a limited amount of headsets are available during worship.
