October 4, 2024

As Methodists, we are called to cultivate more disciples and deeper disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of our community and world. You are invited to join us on the journey.

This week

Pink Sunday on October 6

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and in honor and memory of so many who we love, PUMC will be setting aside this Sunday as our annual Pink Sunday. Please come to worship this Sunday in pink if possible. We will have pink ribbons available for those who do not have pink available to wear that day.

Current Sermon Series

God gave us all our emotions- and whether or not you've seen Disney's Inside Out, you can probably relate to feeling like your own anger, fear, sadness, envy, or anxiety are taking over your head. How can we keep joy at the center? How can we be mindful of what all our emotions can do for us, as God intended them? Join us this Sunday for the conclusion of our Fall sermon series, Inside Out.

Hurricane Relief Efforts

Hurricane Helene has devastated parts of the southeastern US bringing catastrophic flooding and destruction, especially to our neighbors in Western NC. As Conferences begin to assess the damage, we ask for continued prayers for first responders and all those affected. To support this disaster response effort, we ask that you give directly to UMCOR where 100% of donations made go directly to disaster relief efforts.

GIVE NOW

You can also donate by check made payable to PUMC with UMCOR #901670 in the memo line. Place checks in the offering plate or mail to the church office.
