Looking Ahead

Lenten Lunch & Learn

Join us every Thursday at noon during Lent (March 6-April 17) for lunch and a devotional from Pastor Jabe and a 12:30 study of Savior: What the Bible Says about the Cross with Pastor Katie. By exploring the mystery of salvation through the cross, we can deepen our love for God and others and strengthen our commitment to follow Jesus. Sign up for the book study by 2/23. RSVP for lunch weekly.

Staying Connected

From Pastor Jabe's daughter, Ella

To the family of PUMC,

Thank you is not enough. We are so grateful to all of you for the unconditional love and support we have received. James Earl Fisher Whitley IV decided he could not wait to be earthside any longer. The night of January 11th would change everything. I can truly say that James Earl and I have never been more afraid in our lives.

After a bumpy ride in the NICU for the first week, our sweet boy is doing much better and will move upstairs soon, which is where the babies go before going home. God truly heard all of our prayers. Fisher has so many people who love him and we are blessed. Many people have and continue to ask what we need - just keep praying. We cannot wait to bring our sweet baby Fisher home. We hope you enjoy his pictures and we will see everyone as soon as we can! Thank you all. Our God did not fail.

Love,

Ella & James Earl
