Food Collection Sunday

This Sunday, as well as the second Sunday of every month, is a food collection Sunday at PUMC where we collect nonperishable food items for the Coalition for Human Care. Donations can be dropped off in the food collection bin in the narthex.

Donate to the Silent Auction

We invite you to join us as we raise much needed funds for Family Promise of Moore County, Sandhills/Moore County Coalition for Human Care and Kind Souls at the 2025 Chocolate Festival. For this year’s silent auction, we are focusing on some specific areas as our attendees seem to love them best! Do you have a favorite area restaurant gift certificate, a unique handmade gift, tickets to a great show or sporting event or a willingness to share a week or weekend at a beach or mountain getaway? Your generous donation will help a local family in need. We will be accepting donations each Sunday morning in January and all donations are asked to be brought to the church no later than Jan. 31.

Community Engagement

We would love to have you join us as we build the vision for and implement ways to be with our Moore County neighbors. Office Closed

The church office will be closed on Monday, January 20 in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Regular office hours resume on Tuesday, January 21. (9am-4:30pm)

Young at Heart Luncheon

Young at Heart invites all seniors and their guests for lunch and fellowship at CharBar on Tuesday, January 21 at 11:30am.

Note: The group is meeting on the third Tuesday this month not on the regularly scheduled second Tuesday of the month.

There will be a new member class at PUMC on Sunday, February 2 at 2pm for those interested in joining our church or learning more about church membership.

Chocolate Festival 2025

Invite your friends to come out to the PUMC Chocolate Festival on Saturday, February 8 from 9am-1pm. The Festival will include chocolate baked goods and confections, a gift boutique, donuts, hot chocolate, and boxed lunches, cooking and decorating with a local chef, a cake walk, and a silent auction! All proceeds will benefit Kind Souls, Inc., the Sandhills Coalition for Human Care, and Family Promise of Moore County.

Inclement Weather Plan

As the winter season approaches, a couple of helpful reminders: The PUMC office operates it's severe weather policy in accordance with the Moore County School system, as it pertains to staff. For example, if staff are on a 2 hour delay for MCS, same holds true for the PUMC office. In the event that the weather event effects a Sunday, check WRAL for closure information. Email blasts will also be sent out in the event of a weekend weather event, if possible.

Pinehurst UMC has a Hearing Loop. The system provides clear sound directly to hearing aids with a t-coil. If you do not have a t-coil, a limited amount of headsets are available during worship.
