January 20, 2023

As Methodists, we are called to cultivate more disciples and deeper disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of our community and world. You are invited to join us on the journey.

This week

Join Us for Worship

It’s important that we in the church know our mission statement and, more importantly, know what it means about how we should live as Christians. Join us for our newest sermon series as we unpack our PUMC mission statement, “cultivating more and deeper disciples for the transformation of the community and the world."

Gift Card Scam Warning!

Take note that there is a scam going around where it looks like a staff person or church member is sending a text or an email asking you to purchase a gift card for them to give to someone in an emergency situation. No one from the church would ever text or email you asking for money or a gift card. Do not respond to the message.

Stephen Minister Training

Becoming a Stephen Minister in our church is a life-transforming experience—an opportunity to serve God, help others, and grow in faith. Stephen Ministers are congregation members equipped and commissioned for caring ministry. They come from many different backgrounds, ages, and walks of life, but all have one important thing in common: a heart for bringing Christ’s healing love to hurting people.

Stephen Minister Training begins in February.

If you think God is calling you to serve as a Stephen Minister and would like to learn more, please reach out to Mary Neil Thompson or Sherri Mangum.

Give a Ride/Get a Ride Ministry

We continue to have a need for volunteers to drive church members to church on Sundays. If you are interested in giving someone a ride to church or a church event or if you need a ride to church or a church event, contact Paul Shaffer.
