Foster Care Info Meeting
One public crisis that we do not hear enough about is the current foster care crisis in the state of North Carolina, and for that matter, in the nation. On March 26 at 5pm, you will be given the opportunity to come to PUMC to hear from Mikaila Reinhardt of Children’s Home Society of NC. Mikaila is an expert in the field of foster care who will shine light on this heartbreaking crisis. Please make plans to join us for this informational meeting. The Church is called to care for such important matters, and attending this info session is one way to exercise care. Snacks will be provided following the formal presentation. RSVP’s are appreciated.

The Journey Sunday School Class Begins New Study
The Journey Class invites you to join them on Sunday mornings at 9:30am beginning March 26 for the study of “Luke: Jesus and the Outsiders, Outcasts, and Outlaws.” Pastor and bestselling author Adam Hamilton explores the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus as told in the Gospel of Luke. Through Luke’s stories we find Jesus’ care and compassion for all as he welcomes sinners and outcasts. As we study Luke and see Jesus’ concern for those who were considered unimportant, we hear a hopeful and inspiring word for our lives today.
