The Ohio Special Election is just five days away. You know that Field Team 6 registers new Democrats, but with the Ohio registration deadline past, there's just five days to reach out to every registered Democrat we can in that state, get them motivated, and Get Out The Vote. If we do that (on top of the Herculean registration efforts we've already done), we can beat the Republican power grab and get over 50% of the votes to say NO to Issue 1. And if we can do that, we can also beat the Republicans in November and put abortion rights into the Ohio constitution. That's a gargantuan impact, and we're pushing to make it happen now!

That Ohio push is just one opportunity among so many right now. It's a critical and exciting time for activism, a time when we can get Democrats fired up and ready to take action so our voices for progress will be unstoppable. Now is the time to get onto college campuses, and make sure incoming students are registered to vote. Gen Z wants to make a difference; they're socially engaged and eager to take action. By making sure they're registered, we help them create the world they want to see.

Yet even college drives are just the beginning. With programs like Adopt-a-State, Adopt-a-Phonebanker, Text Arcades, and our amazing partnerships with groups like Climate Hawks Vote, we are awash in incredible volunteer opportunities, and each one can make a massive difference in the trajectory of our country.

At Field Team 6, we know we have the most kickass, super-energized volunteers around. You do so much, not just because you're driven and motivated, but also because you know how satisfying, fulfilling, and fun it is to work together with others and make an impact. We're thankful to all of you, and excited to keep coming together and push even harder.

BACK-TO-SCHOOL IS SUPER-COOL... AND PERFECT FOR A VOTER DRIVE!

College students will be heading back to school before you know it, so we're planning a SLEW of on-campus voter drives.

Why are we so excited? Gen Z is now officially the biggest generation, and a majority of them are now voting age. Plus, they care deeply about Democratic issues like abortion rights, gun safety, health care, climate rescue, and stopping Trump.

The best way to get 'em registered is by hitting their campuses. Think of these back-to-school events as the Burning Man of voter drives––it's wild and crazy fun channeling their college spirit. And best of all, we can rack up BIG numbers of new Democrats.

August 8 is coming soon! That's the date of the special election in Ohio, so we need to act now to Get Out The Vote (and remind everyone to VOTE NO on Issue 1) as well as register new Democrats for November’s hugely consequential general election.

What makes that election so extra-important? Thanks to the tireless work of activists who gathered over 710,000 petition signatures (nearly twice the 413,000 needed) a referendum to enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution will be on November’s ballot.

Did we say “hugely consequential?” [Checks notes.] Yes, we did!

Adopting a state is a great way to go deep with your donations and make a huge difference.

That's why we've drawn up field plans for our 12 target states in 2024 – and now for our 5 target states in 2023 as well! (Our 2024 targets are AZ, CA, GA, MI, MT, NC, NV, NY, OH, PA, WI, WV. Our 2023 targets are KY, LA, MS, NJ, VA.)

Each state's field plan tells you 1) how much we need to raise in order to do the most good we can, and 2) how many new Democratic voters we expect to register with that budget. If you, your friends & family, or your organization adopts a state, you can help win that state up and down the ballot!

This process works. In '22, Angel Treinen and Onward Toward Progress adopted Nevada and raised $55k for Field Team 6. That allowed us to conduct the most comprehensive outreach we've ever done. And it succeeded wildly, winning 3 swing House seats and 1 swing Senate seat, among other historic results. With your help, we can duplicate this success everywhere.

Thanks to your Adopt-a-State donor efforts, Field Team 6 raised enough money to buy data on 30,000 unregistered likely Democrats in Montana and another 30,000 in Ohio! And we're hoping to raise enough at this coming weekend's Activist Boogie to be able to buy another 30,000 in Ohio!
