Bring your own snowshoes or rent a pair from us for just $10 (while supplies last). After the race, Boardroom Spirits of Lansdale will be providing hot rum cider for those over 21 (with valid ID) and cider without the punch for those too young to belly up to the bar.

PVSD NEWS!
Facilities Update at South Elementary:
We are currently considering options to address these needs, and there have been opportunities over the past several weeks for the community to provide feedback on those options, which include building a new school, renovating/upgrading the existing building, or closing South and redistricting students in a variety of different ways. We held two district-wide meetings in October and a smaller meeting for the South community was held last evening. You may review the presentation from that meeting by clicking here.
We also invited community members to volunteer for a Facilities Steering Committee through a survey recently. There was an overwhelming response from people interested in serving on this committee. We could see no fair way to narrow down the pool of approximately 300 applicants to a much smaller group, so I am inviting anyone who is interested to attend the first two scheduled Community Facilities Committee meetings. These meetings will be work sessions where we will convene and collaborate for the purpose of addressing the issues and preparing recommendations.
The first two meetings will be held on Wednesday, November 28, and Thursday, December 11. Both meetings will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the cafeteria at Perkiomen Valley High School. Any district resident may attend - you do not need to have filled out the previous survey to participate.
Students Seeking Volunteer Opportunities!

Students seeking community service opportunities access this page for ideas and could be available to help you make your next event or occasion a success. Please send information about student volunteer opportunities to Jessica Lester, Manager of School & Community Engagement: jlester@pvsd.org. Visit the Volunteering Vikings page here:
