Pumpkin Spice Latte & Hurricane Season πβοΈ
Thank you all for a wonderful Week 1 of games!
The tropical storm/hurricane in the Atlantic may have some impacts for us later this week so read on for important details. We will be monitoring the weather carefully for potential impacts to Thursday's practice, Saturday's games, and Helmets & Heels. If any of these events are postponed or canceled, we'll post an update in the FB group, on our website, and in an email, so please check those sources regularly. Important: If there's no announcement, it means games/events are on as scheduled!
Thursday's league practice night seems unlikely to be impacted, but if any change is made, we'll do our best to announce that within an hour of the scheduled start time.
For Saturday's games and Helmets & Heels, we'll continue to monitor the weather reports and make a decision either Friday night or early Saturday morning. We're currently working with Dark Lady to arrange a rain date in the event we need to postpone. Additional details will be shared once we have a better sense of the weather forecast. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

League Practice & Skills Night
As a reminder, tomorrow (Thursday) is our league-wide practice and skills night. This is another great opportunity to get some extra live action play in between weeks.
This week, Michael Petracca will be leading a "Receiver Clinic." Come learn how to read your wrist playbook, learn the receiver "route tree" (the different types of routes that a receiver is asked to run), receiver stance, catching technique, and more.
League-Wide Practice Night is TOMORROW, September 14th from 5:30-7:30pm at North County Club Field (160-168 Monroe St, Warwick, R 02888).
These weekly practices/skills clinics will take place each Thursday evening throughout the season and are being offered in response to league-wide requests for more practice and development opportunities.

Important Information About Tiebreakers:
When two or more teams have the same record, the first tiebreaker is "Point Differential (PD)" - the difference between the total number of points your team has scored vs. the total number of points your team has allowed.
If two or more teams have the same record AND the same point differential, the next tiebreaker is head-to-head record. In this scenario, the tied team that has the best head-to-head record against the other tied team(s) will take the top spot.
The third tiebreaker is "Points Scored."
If any teams are still tied after these tiebreakers, a coin flip will break the tie.
Any game that ends in a forfeit, will be recorded as a 6-0 result, but those points will not count towards tiebreakers.
