“It Gets Better Project” Letter Writing Table

We're thrilled to introduce you to a heartwarming initiative that embodies the power of empathy, support, and encouragement. The "It Gets Better Project" Letter Writing Table is a wonderful opportunity for our league to come together and make a positive impact in the lives of LGBTQ+ youth.

The "It Gets Better Project" is a global movement that aims to uplift LGBTQ+ young people by sharing personal stories of hope, resilience, and acceptance. It was founded on the belief that life does get better for LGBTQ+ teens as they navigate the challenges of adolescence and beyond.

When you get to the fields for this weekend's games, look for our letter writing table, where you'll have the opportunity to create heartfelt letters and messages of support for LGBTQ+ youth and youth in foster care here in Rhode Island. These letters are powerful tools that can provide solace, inspiration, and a sense of belonging to those who may be facing difficulties or need a little extra love.

We'll provide an array of colorful pens, note cards, stickers, etc. for you to craft your messages. Feel free to get creative and expressive - your words can and will make a difference in someone's life.

Collection Box: Drop your letters and notes into our collection box, and we'll take care of delivering them.

Let's fill the world with love, understanding, and hope, one message at a time!
