PVHS Boys Volleyball

Our varsity boys' volleyball beat Santa Monica last Monday and rivals Peninsula in 3 sets at home on Friday!
Boys Tennis

This past Tuesday, Varsity Boys Tennis traveled to the Redondo Sea Hawks’ courts and our Sea Kings reigned with a score of 17-1. On Thursday, it was the "Battle of the Hill" as they faced the Peninsula Panthers at home. The riveting duel culminated in a 9-9 tie when all the matches were over. The outcome was based on a game count where our Sea Kings came up a bit short and lost 71-82. PV get them back when they go to Pen next month!!

The players kicked off Spring Break on Friday as they traveled to Corona Del Mar for the All-American Invitational Tournament. Elite players from high schools all over Southern California, Arizona, and Oregon came and competed. Although PV did not make it to the Championship, it was two days of grueling, star-studded caliber teams, and the PV Sea Kings were right up there with the best of them!!
The PVHS LLS Club thanks all of the PVHS faculty* and students for supporting the City of Hope blood drive last Monday at PVE City Hall. The drive was a huge success and we are so thankful for everyone who helped out!

32 was the magic number of the day - blood units collected, City of Hope patients impacted, and potential number of lives saved. "A little of your time could mean a lifetime for another."
