Welcome Week Highlights

This past week our Sea King family took a little bit of time each day to focus on making connections with one another. Teachers and students were paired up to play lawn games at lunch like cornhole and competed against each other in trivia style games. During our Welcome Wednesday students were able to think outside the box with their peers and learn a little more about the opportunities at PVHS during the activity fair. Our staff even did a surprise flash mob during the pep rally on Friday at lunch. Welcome home Sea Kings, we are family!

Student Spotlight

Congratulations to seniors Isabella Brannan and Courtney Sugano for receiving the rank of Eagle Scout. These girls were founding members of one of the first Scout troops for young women and are in the inaugural class of female Eagle Scouts. Isabella’s Eagle Project involved proper flag retirement including collecting over 350 flags and building two permanent flag collection boxes for the City of PVE. Courtney’s Eagle Project involved improving the lives of bunnies up for adoption, included building signs and storage units for Harbor Animal Shelter. Congratulations to these two Seakings for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and for paving the way for other young women to work toward this great honor.
