Student Spotlight

David Maemoto, Senior, was selected as a Semifinalst in the 2021-2022 Coca-Cola Scholars Program. David is one of 1,600 students selected from over 68,000 applicants due to his outstanding leadership, academic achievements, and dedication to our community. Congratulations David and good luck!
Academic Spotlight

This week students in AP Psychology participated in the annual "baby project". Students learned about the development of people from birth through their lifespan.  This project helps to give students the opportunity to participate in real-world learning connecting content in the classroom to their personal lives.
Athletic Spotlight

Boys Basketball competed in the Artesia Tournament and beat Torrance 66-48 and California HS 51-41, and Santa Fe 50-46. Congratulations to senior Jake Koyama who was named to the All Tournament Team!

Girls Basketball competed in the Valley Christian Tournament and finished in 7th place with a win against Valley Christian 47-41 and a loss against Yorba Linda 29-27.

Boys Soccer started the season with a 1-0 win against Long Beach Wilson and a 2-0 win against Harvard Westlake.

Girls Soccer started the season with a 8-0 win versus San Pedro and a 2-0 win against South Torrance.

Girls Water Polo beat Moor park 10-9, Malibu 19-5, Crescenta Valley 8-7, and lost to Rio Mesa 8-3 at the Mistletoe Tournament in Newbury Park.
General Info
All NEW swim team members interested in trying out for the swim team on Saturday, December 18th must pre-register on Sign-Up Genius.

All athletes must provide proof of valid physical prior to the tryout date.
