Counseling Office Updates

Seniors- If you need a counselor letter of recommendation please reach out to your counselor directly as the deadline has passed.

Attention All Students! Would you like to meet with your counselor to discuss academics, college interests or personal issues, we are here to below to make a virtual appointment with your counselor at a time convenient for you. Unsure why you would see your counselor? Check out the Top 10 reasons to See your Counselor below.

Students your counselors know virtual learning is not easy. Now more than ever it is important to practice Self Care for your physical and mental well being. Use these tips to help you practice Self Care during virtual learning.
As a South Bay Families Connected partner school district, our teens have access to the new SBFC Virtual Teen Center. This was created by local teens from the South Bay community who understand the challenges that teens are facing during these current times. These teens have produced videos and curated resources to help support teens mental health and wellness. It is their goal to help others with practicing self-care and kindness, encourage teens to connect with their passions and remind the teen community they are not alone during these challenging times. Check out the resources at the link below.

Attention current 11th grade students. If you took the pre-ACT last year, your scores are available in Aeries under "test scores." Also be sure to look for an email from Ms. Carpenter to sign up for the PSAT in January. The PSAT is only being offered to current 11th grade students.
College and Career Center Updates
All current PVHS Chinese students and those who have completed Chinese program (1-5) are welcome to join the National Chinese Honor Society. We have great community service opportunities where your talents and passion to help others will shine. Click here for the application.

Even with all the challenges our kids are facing in these uncertain times, they are still creating art. I am delighted to be able to share with you the first-ever PVPUSD Council of PTAs All-Schools Reflections Art Gallery.
This link will take you to the PVPUSD Council of PTAs Reflections Gallery, where you'll be able to access the online galleries for every elementary, middle, and high school Reflections program.
