Rodent Pest Problems? Avoid the Use of Poison to Protect Household Pets
After hearing from concerned neighbors about discovering dead squirrels and rabbits on their property, we'd like to discourage the use of poisons and sticky traps when fighting rodent pests.
This is because poison and sticky traps harm more than just the critters you are trying to get rid of. They can harm or even cause death in household pets, or to helpful critters like lizards and predatory birds like hawks and owls.
Please consider alternatives like snap traps, live traps, or reach out to us if you have an extensive problem in your area. See this recent article about rat problems in Sam Hughes and Central Tucson and possible solutions, such as barn owls, that neighborhoods can introduce.
Here is another article we found with helpful advice on how to effectively eradicate rats without harming additional wildlife or pets.
