Our March luncheon will start with an energetic presentation from our Nominating Committee Chairman, Mary Reitz. She and her committee will be encouraging each of you to apply for a Board position. The election will be held at our November meeting with installation at the December meeting.
Mayor Lisa Borowsky will share her State of the City message as she will almost have held office for her first 100 days. She and our new City Council have certainly been busy making necessary changes to improve our City. We will take questions from the floor if time allows.
Some of you may not know our third speaker, Joshua Lyons. He is the District Director for Congressman Abe Hamadeh and served as his Campaign Manager. Many of you know of the long hard battle that Abe fought to win this Congressional race, and he will be speaking on the events “Behind the Scenes of a highly contested Campaign”.
Reminder for those who ordered Loren Spivak books at our February luncheon:
He will receive the books mid-March and will bulk ship them to my home. I will notify everyone when I receive them, and you can either pick them up at my home or I will bring them to the April meeting. Let me know if you have questions.
