From the President

In February, we SOLD OUT for our first meeting since November due to covid limitations. Although I have increased our seating a bit for March, I'm pretty sure that we will be sold out again as we continue to be cautious. Please note this newsletter goes first to our Active Members and then is released to Associate Members and other Guests. IF you are an Active member and want to attend in March, please RSVP as soon as possible upon receiving this!

A dear friend of mine is President of the Arrowhead RW in the valley and as I was pondering my article this month, her newsletter arrived in my inbox. I found what she said to be very relevant and other than substituting PVRW for ARW, I share her words with you "Our thoughts are what do we do now? Well, PVRW is not missing a beat. We will continue our format of activities, our education mission with informative speaker programs and continue to work for the election of Republican candidates in all elections. PVRW will continue our Caring for America projects and our Scholarship donations will assist high school students financially. It is important for us to contact our legislators to express our opinions. How else can we influence their votes?

Please read your newsletter. It is the way we reach our membership and is filled with both present and future information.

Please contact me with any ideas or suggestions at:

[email protected]

May God bless America and our fledgling PVRW and guide us in our quest to make a difference.

Warm regards,

Mary Williams

Did you know?

Happy Birthday to the Sweetheart State as Arizona turns 109 tomorrow on Valentine's Day! Due to the diligent and industrious efforts of one Miss Sharlot Hall (yes, the museum!) Arizona was not lumped in with New Mexico for one big state! The industrious Sharlot lobbied Congress that Arizona was far too special to be combined with New Mexico.

Thanks Sharlot!!
