Dear Portola Valley School District Community, Parents, Staff, and Students,

It is my pleasure to wish each and every one of you a joyous holiday season!

The holiday season is a time to be with family and friends and to be thankful for the gifts that we have in our lives. We are all members of a special family in the Portola Valley School District and have much for which to be grateful.

I, especially, am grateful to serve as your Superintendent. The nicest gift I’ve received this year is the warm welcome from the PVSD community. My first five months have been invigorating and enjoyable, and I am looking forward to many more together. Your insights and feedback are greatly appreciated, and I hope you will continue to email, call or simply speak with me directly about your hopes and dreams for your children, students and our district.

On behalf of our Board of Trustees and District Office staff, I wish everyone a peaceful and joyous holiday season. As we begin the New Year (and new decade), may we continue to work together to meet the challenges that surely lie ahead. I hope that your holiday season is shared with loved ones, and that you’re able to take time to rest, reflect and recharge and get ready for a wonderful 2020.

I look forward to seeing all of you in the new year. And until then, take care and have a healthy and happy holiday.

Best Regards,
Roberta
