Dear PVSD Families,

We’re in the last stretch less than two weeks away from the end of the PVSF Annual Campaign! We’re so close to reaching our goal that I wanted to personally reach out to remind you to donate.

As someone that has worked in different school districts in the area, I have firsthand experience of the benefit of a strong school Foundation. I believe in the importance of this major fundraising effort for our schools so much that you’re going to see me around campus in our school colors – blue wig, tutu and all!

 

But seriously, all fun and games, colored hair and tutus aside, the funding we receive from the Annual Campaign is not a “nice-to-have.” It’s an essential part of the District’s funding at 6% of our budget and something we count on to ensure our students have an exceptional educational experience here at PVSD.

 

Think Math. Think reading. Think Science, Spanish, teaching aides, Art, PE, Music and Band. Think about those special extras that make your child want to go to school, rather than just tolerate it. That’s what this campaign is about. There’s hardly a part of your child’s school experience that isn’t touched by the Foundation’s Annual Campaign contributions. And we can’t do it without everyone’s help. Every child benefits. Can we count on every family to give?
