October 2026

Hello friends and family!

I know, for myself,

the shorter days

and cooler weather

can affect my

mental health.

I find it difficult to get

out of bed sometimes.

I find it hard to socialize.

I want to stay at home.

I doomscroll.

I forget to care for myself.

Does the same

happen for you?

I'd love to hear from you.

Elevator Update

We are happy to share that the elevator contractors have advised that the elevator upgrade is now nearing completion.

We know this extended disruption has had a real impact on our community, particularly for Members, partners, visitors, and colleagues with accessibility needs. We are very grateful for the patience, flexibility, and understanding everyone has shown throughout this process.

The project is now moving into its final stage. Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) is expected to be onsite during the week of September 28, 2026, into early October 2026, to complete the required safety review and provide approval for the elevator system to return to operation.

We recognize how important, reliable elevator access is to making the Hub welcoming and accessible for everyone, and we are encouraged to be approaching this final step.

Thank you again for your continued patience and support.

We will share another update as soon as the TSSA inspection and approval process has been completed.
