Dear Residents,
Starting Tomorrow 3 June, WPAFB will begin installing temporary fencing along Longstreet and Vandorn Lane to help address important safety concerns in the area. Work could begin as early as 7:30 AM.
As part of this work, WPAFB contractors will need to access the backyard spaces of homes located along Longstreet and Vandorn. To help make this process smooth and efficient, we kindly ask that you:
- Ensure your backyard is freshly mowed
- Pick up any pet waste
- Remove any locks from your gates
The temporary fencing will extend from the entrance of Longstreet Lane to the existing green fence line.
While the temporary fencing is in place, please note that residents along Longstreet and Vandorn Lane will only be responsible for mowing up to the temporary fence line. The fence will temporarily occupy a portion of your backyard, and maintenance beyond that point will not be necessary during this period.
