You Are A Most Precious Gift From God!

It is difficult to believe the Easter Season 2018 has already arrived!

Time is such an important gift from God. The Apostle Paul encourages believers to "redeem the time" for Godly purposes: " See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15-16  KJV ). Divine wisdom is practiced when we redeem the time to further God's kingdom in our families, communities, and even to the ends of the earth!

On behalf of Prayer Watch International (PWI), I would like to take this opportunity to thank God for His faithfulness and generosity to the mission and ministry of PWI. Special thanks go to you, our prayer and ministry partners, around the world. God bless and reward you for your perseverance in intercession and for your dedicated support of God's Vision of Prayer given to the Body of Christ through PWI!

LORD, shower Your love, joy and peace on all PWI's faithful prayer, financial, and ministry partners around the world in Jesus' Almighty Name. Hallelujah! Amen.
Resurrection Power!

"The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you."  (Romans 8:11 NLT)

The Easter Season scans a wide range of emotional experiences from
extravagant celebration and joy on Palm Sunday, to suffering and pain on Good Friday, and culminating with Resurrection Power and exuberant joyful shouting, "He is Risen!" on Easter Morning!

Easter Morning is the exclamation mark of the Christian faith! God raised Jesus from death and the grave. He is victorious over the devil, the kingdom of darkness, even death itself. The Lord brings hope of eternal life to all who accept the redemptive work of Christ on the cross and receive the Holy Spirit's resurrection power to rise in glory, spending eternity with God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - and everlasting worship and praise in Spirit and Truth to God's eternal glory!

It was the Holy Spirit Who raised Jesus fr om the dead on Easter Morning. According to the Apostle Paul (Romans 8:11), this same Holy Spirit "lives in you." That means you are filled with  RESURRECTION POWER! Let's give greater access for the Holy Spirit to manifest His Resurrection Power in and through our thoughts, words, and deeds! God will be even more glorified, His kingdom on earth strengthened and expanded, and His bride fully prepared for His soon return!

The facts of Easter are clear and irrefutable:

First , just as Jesus had promised - He died and rose again. Second , Jesus' physical resurrection shows that He is the living Christ and ruler over the eternal Kingdom of God. Third , because Jesus rose from the dead, we (His followers) can be sure of our resurrection into eternal life when that time comes. J esus was victorious over death. Death is not the end. There will be eternal life with Jesus for all those who believe in Him! Fourth , the resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to all His followers today . God's resurrection power will transform our sinful bodies into eternal life in Christ Jesus. Fifth , the resurrection power of Jesus provides anointing and strength to be a witness to share the Good News of eternal life in Jesus Christ (by grace through faith) with a lost and chaotic world. Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords!

Be Blessed With Resurrection Power!

Our Resurrected Lord and Savior, bless all PWI partners, families, and churches with a double portion of RESURRECTION POWER to  pray, intercede, do spiritual warfare, and to serve Jesus with greater Holy Spirit anointing and strength  than ever before to Your glory, honor and praise in Jesus' Everlasting Name. Hallelujah! Amen.

International Staff (Tanzania & India)

We want to share with you parts of the annual reports submitted from a couple of our PWI international leaders. PWI international team members provide annual reports for their ongoing work. It is greatly encouraging reading about the harvest that continues to be produced from seeds planted years ago. PWI continues to prayerfully and financially support these team members. May you be blessed by reading about their fruitful ministries that continue to exist because of your continued prayers and financial gifts. Thank you!

Excerpt from Tanzania Prayer Plan and Organisation by: Rev. Justin Oforo in Moshi Town, Tanzania (January 2018)

...Now that I am retired from my pastoral work at the Diocese, I have more time to promote the prayer ministry. I am still connected to the Lutheran church and I am working as a volunteer with the national church to promote prayer services in all our congregations country wide. My particular task is in writing and editing a weekly prayer guide. Last year we produced 30,000 copies and this year we are
aiming at 50,000.

Also with Scripture Union of Tanzania, we are promoting prayers in Christian families  and last year we aimed at reaching 5,000 homes and this year we are aimed at reaching 10,000 homes. My particular role with scripture union is to write and edit a daily Bible and prayer guide.

I am also closely working with my parish pastor at Msaranga Lutheran church to promote prayer among the parish children. In addition to Sunday schools, we have started developing community-based children prayer groups. Each group is about 50 children. The Parish has about 700 children and 30 Sunday school teachers. My wife Grace is running one of these community-based groups in our house compound. They meet every Saturday from 4 - 6 pm.

Regarding interdenominational prayer groups, I am still active in the national prayer movement which meets at least once per year in January.  We have just finished a prayer seminar where about 3,000 people gathered. We meet from January 8-12th. Pastor Saria, who is our assistant to the Bishop, was one of the participating pastors. We also gather together every first Wednesday of the month at Moshi to pray the whole day. At least 20 people attend regularly.

Once again I thank you very much in advance for your financial considerations and support.

Yours in Christ,
Pastor Justin Oforo

PWI Prayer Media Ministry

Please continue to pray for the PWI Media Ministry to continue to grow and reach more people worldwide in 2018. We are now launching a new PWI Teaching Blog based on the PWI Prayer School curricula. The first series is called "Face To Face With God," according to the title of Prayer School I. Pastor Bjorn is also working on a new Prayer Theme Blog called "How To Become A House of Prayer." We are hoping to do one prayer video a month in the PWI Stories of Faith series. Thank you for your prayers for the Holy Spirit's guidance and anointing at all times.

You are encouraged to check out these PWI Prayer Media ministry resources on our website (www.prayerwatch.net), and to "like us" on Facebook.   Click here to follow us on Facebook.

Gratitude and Appreciation

PWI, the Board of Directors, and staff want to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all of you, our prayer and ministry partners throughout the world. Without your prayers, volunteering, and faithful support, it would be very difficult to carry on and carry out the Vision of Prayer God has given to the body of Christ through PWI. God bless you abundantly for your perseverance in intercession, invaluable ministry service, and generous financial support. Please continue to remember PWI throughout 2018. Your devotion and dedication to prayer and the ministry of prayer continues to make a significant and abiding impact around the world!

Lord, shower Your Resurrection Power over all of PWI's faithful prayer and mission partners worldwide in Jesus' Almighty and Everlasting Name. Amen!
