President's Message
Letter from the Pace Setters President

Dear Fellow Retiree,

I am writing to encourage you to remain connected with Cal Poly Pomona, other retirees, and students through Pace Setters. Established in 1981, Pace Setters is the official organization for retired faculty and staff of Cal Poly Pomona, including the Foundation, and ASI. Our $20 annual membership drive is currently underway and will continue until the end of December. Members receive event invitations, newsletters, can volunteer their time, and lend support to our student scholarship program. Whether you are a recent retiree or have been away for some time, we are here to provide you with opportunities to stay engaged.

Below is more detailed information and links.

Warm regards,

Kathy Harcharik, President

We will be collecting clothing donations for the Cal Poly Pomona Clothes Closet at the luncheon. To learn more, including donation criteria and how the Clothes Closet supports our students, please visit their website HERE

Donate to Scholarship

Please consider contributing to our scholarship program. This is a wonderful way to help and support our students. Our goal is to raise enough funds to increase the value of the scholarships we are giving out in Spring 2025 from three scholarships at $2,000 to three scholarships at $2,500.
