Financing Panel Event Recap

The Pace SBDC, in partnership with the SBA NY District Office, hosted a Small Business Financing Panel & Networking Event at One Pace Plaza, connecting 150+ entrepreneurs with 15 lenders.


The event featured remarks from Pace President Marvin Krislov, Pace's Lubin School of Business Dean Lawrence Singleton, U.S. Congressman Dan Goldman, and SBA Regional Administrator Matt Coleman, followed by panels on funding strategies and a lively networking session. Read more here.

2025 SBDC Award of Excellence and Innovation

The Pace University SBDC is proud to be named the 2025 SBDC of Excellence & Innovation from the U.S. Small Business Administration (NY district) as part of National Small Business Week.


The award recognizes our impact on small business growth, economic development, and innovative support for entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds.

Pace SBDC at NYSBDC Staff Training

The Pace SBDC team recently attended the NYSBDC network Staff Training in Saratoga.


We’re proud to share that several team members received statewide recognition. Additionally, Pace SBDC client Liz’s Book Bar was named NYSBDC Neighborhood Business of the Year.


The Pace SBDC was honored with the 2025 Neighborhood Hero Award for our expansion into Brooklyn, and recognized for leading the statewide network in business starts (119) and clients certified (59) this year. Read more here.

Pace SBDC launches in-person advisory sessions in Park Slope

The Pace SBDC is excited to launch in-person, one-on-one business advisory services in Park Slope, Brooklyn, in partnership with the Park Slope 5th Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) and Congressman Dan Goldman. Small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs can now meet with a Pace SBDC advisor for personalized, no-cost business counseling in their community.

Verizon Digital Ready Program is now live!

Verizon, in partnership with LISC, is offering $10,000 grants through the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready. The deadline to apply is June 30.

Pace SBDC is proud to have been selected as a program partner program, through which small businesses gain access to free training, valuable resources, and grant funding opportunities.
