Keeping Pace Dancer Spotlight Part 2

You can also support one of our esteemed celebrity dancers! Check out each profile to learn why these well-known Calgarians are taking the brave step onto our dance floor to raise funds for children with diverse needs and their families.

Bri Cook

"I think it is so important to support children with diverse needs and their families. It is not just support. It is the funding, it is the accessibility, and it is the opportunities for these children. For me to be able to give that back to my own community in any way, in such a fun way like this, means a lot."

Alesia Fieldberg

"I know how important it is not only to have additional supports that are tailored specifically to children with diverse needs, but also to have that intervention in the early years. And when children can get that support early on, it can help them keep pace with the other kids who are entering the school stream."

Thomas Ostrowerka

"I have two friends with motor and developmental disabilities, and I've seen firsthand their tremendous resilience and the wonderful gifts that they bring to the world on a daily basis. I feel that that's exactly what Pacekids provides; an opportunity for kids to learn, to grow and to reach their full potential.”

Share Your Voice: Take Our Service Delivery Survey

We are currently gathering input from families to help guide future service planning, and we would value your feedback. This short survey asks about your child’s needs, your interest in services, and what days and times work best for your family. We are also exploring the possibility of expanding into Friday and weekend programming.

Your responses will help us better understand how to shape services to meet the needs of our community. This survey is for planning purposes only and does not guarantee services.

The survey takes approximately 3–5 minutes to complete. As a thank you, families can optionally enter a draw for a family 4-pack of passes to the Calgary Zoo by providing their email at the end of the survey. This is completely optional and not linked to your responses.

Survey closes Friday, April 24, 2026. Click the link below to take the survey!
