PACIFIC HOSTS 3 INTERNS THIS SUMMER
On our staff, we have 18 with horticulture or related degrees and every year we host interns from colleges across the country. Several of our staff started as previous interns  including, Corey Petersen, David Grover, and Molly Rios-Nogales. Our trade association hosts National Collegiate Landscape Competition every spring where we interview potential interns and graduates. We also go on campus and several universities throughout the year, presenting to classes and working with professors to assist with industry perspectives in their programs.  This year we have 3 interns from 3 different schools.
Courtney York started her internship at Pacific Landscape in late April after graduating from Brigham Young University Idaho    with a degree in Horticulture. Courtney enjoys the fact that there is a wide variety and diversity of aspects within the field of horticulture. She has a particular interest in irrigation and water management, which lends well to assisting Pacific Landscape in its mission of being a leader in water management and she will be developing Water Conservation Plans
Elizabeth Warren is majoring in Plant Science with an emphasis in Horticulture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo . Her hometown is Tustin, CA.  When she graduates next spring, her desire is to work for a commercial landscape company as a designer.  She has come to Pacific to perform our Water Conservation Plans . Fun fact about Ellie, she has a pet pig named Elvis.
Krystal Warner is a student at Clackamas Community College studying Landscape Management & Design. She is assisting with Water Conservation Plans  and helping with research on Lawn Conversion and Ecological Lawn management.  Krystal’s passions are spending time in her garden and with her seven-year-old son and her dog.
