The UN 2023 Water Conference took place at UN Headquarters in New York March 22-24. The Conference united more than 10,000 global stakeholders to address the urgent water crisis. The Pacific Institute played a crucial role in the conference, convening private sector leaders and providing thought leadership on a variety of water issues and solutions.

Business Leaders’ Open Call to Accelerate Action on Water

The event demonstrated the power of collective action and business commitments to accelerate progress towards water resilience and emphasized the need for cross-sector collaboration to achieve large-scale impact.

More than 60 companies operating in 130 countries have joined the Open Call and pledged to build water resilience in their operations and supply chains, aiming for a positive impact in 100 vulnerable water basins by 2030
