SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
COVID-19 and Meet Cancellations

The coronavirus outbreak continues to present daunting challenges to athletic events. On March 13, U.S. Masters Swimming announced that the 2020 Spring National Championship was cancelled and recommended that all LMSCs (such as Pacific Masters Swimming) suspend their events through April 30.

In view of this recommendation and similar concern expressed by Governor Newsom, our remaining short course yards events have been cancelled. We are disappointed and know that those of you who have been training for and excited about these events must be disappointed, too. However, we have taken these actions to ensure the health and safety of our communities.

Pacific Masters Swimming continues to closely monitor the outbreak and our policies will follow the recommendations and guidelines of the various local public departments in which our swim meets are conducted, as well as USMS.  Changes to the event calendar will be published as soon as they are received.

The following PacMasters meets are cancelled: CAL Aquatics Masters Spring Meet; Pacific Masters SCY Championships.
