Sacramento Sprint Pentathlon - Short Course Yards

The Sacramento Sprint Pentathlon will be held at the Johnson Ranch Racquet Club, 2600 Eureka Road, Roseville, Ca. 95661. This ever-popular event includes 50s of all four strokes and a 100-yard IM as well as medley relays. Due to pool availability it will be a short course yards meet. information and
USMS Honors Pacific Masters at Convention  
Pacific Masters was well-represented in the awards department at the just-concluded USMS Annual Meeting in Jacksonville! Pacific Masters VP for Communications and Technology Bob Anderson received a Dorothy Donnelly Service Award; a Kerry O'Brien Coaching Award went to Coach Carol Nip of Albany Armada Aquatic Masters; and the editorial team for the Pacific Update received the June Krauser Communications Award. The Update team greatly appreciates this national-level recognition. Keep an eye on the Pacific Masters website for a complete wrap-up of the 2018 convention!
PacMasters 8th Annual Celebration and Meeting
Registration Now Open!

This year's celebration and meeting will again be held at St. Mary's College in Moraga on Sunday, November 4. In a change from past years, the day will begin with a split session of workouts (pool and dryland). We'll be split into two groups, each of which will alternate between a 45-minute swim workout and a 45-minute gym session.
Following a Tech Talk on the KimSwims open water documentary and a catered lunch, 3-time Olympian and 5-time gold medalist Nathan Adrian will deliver the keynote address. Take a look at our exciting agenda and be sure to register soon -- space is limited! Register here .

This annual event, held at the Clarke Swim Center at Heather Farms in Walnut Creek, is a great way to end the year. Please note: individual registration ends on October 3 at 11:59 pm! Information and registration.

Need help flying? We're on it! Presented by Pacific Masters Swimming and led by VP's of Club and Coach Services Stu and Mary Kahn, along with 2014 USMS Coach of the Year Cokie Lepinski, this clinic offers a 45-minute classroom presentation and 75 minutes of in-water demonstration and instruction. It is specifically designed for beginner to intermediate swimmers. Swimmers will leave the clinic with a personalized assessment and suggestions for stroke corrections. Registration
Ross Yancher Memorial Brute Squad ePostal Swim  
November 1-30
Challenge yourself with the 10th Annual Brute Squad e-Postal, sponsored by Davis Aquatic Masters! The event consists of a timed, continuous 200 butterfly, followed by a 400 IM, and finishing up with a 1650 freestyle. Completing this is something to brag about! Information

Pacific Masters Helping Whiskeytown Swim Team

A big shout-out to all of the Pacific Masters swimmers who have made donations to the Whiskeytown swim team. Thanks as well to the Keller Cove Swim organizers, who announced that they will also be making a donation to this team. The GoFundMe campaign is still open  here.
