Pacific Masters Annual Meeting
Natalie Coughlin, Olympic gold medalist, world champion and record holder, is our keynote speaker at this year's Pacific Masters Annual Meeting on Sunday, November 12 at St. Mary's College, Moraga. You are invited. The morning commences with a refreshing swim workout in which you might be surprised to swim in a lane next to Natalie. A breakfast snack follows along with a morning tech talk. Lunch is served in an atmosphere of being at a reunion, leading up to America's swim darling at the podium. Hold the date on your calendar, and stay for the business meeting that follows.

Chris is presently the PacMasters bookkeeper, and has been filling in for Charlene O' Brien during the Administrator transition. Pacific Masters thanks Charlene for her great work, and looks forward to a long association with Chris.

From the Editor
Winning in the Golden Years
There are articles about all kinds of sports in the daily papers. However, swimming appears rarely and Masters Swimming, never. Maybe a change is coming.
Read about Daniela Barnea in this New York Times article. At 73, she just won three gold medals for her swimming.
