Our old reliable Dot on Demand ("DOD") valvejet and plunger style coders are still a great case coding choice when you don't need the high resolution of a barcode. The DOD technology has been a stalwart since the 1980's and is an excellent, cost efficient workhorse which is available in several platforms from our simple single line all-in-one QM and Vx12 models to our multi-head, multi-production line Patrion and VX systems. All provide a robust coding option that requires minimal maintenance and associated costs. These coders are menu driven and provide variable information inputs including expiration date, time, shift code, rollover times, or Julian dates.

All-in-One Systems

Our MSSC QM 7500 and QM1600 valvejet series and Foxjet Vx12 plunger style valvejet coders feature a compact, self-enclosed single or two line coder. The coder arrives with everything needed to mount to a conveyor and print. The self-regulating ink supply requires no external air. The simple onboard controller sets up in minutes and can store up to 52 messages with character lengths of 40. Whether it’s a water based porous corrugated application or a non-porous glossed case requiring a solvent based ink, these all in one systems can provide a solution. Multi Head and Multi Production Line Coders

Our Marsh Patrion valvejet and Foxjet Vx9 & Vx18 plunge style valvejets are multi head systems. The controllers are simple to use and can control multiple single or multi line printheads on one or two production lines. These expandable system are scalable to grow as your needs grow. They use a low cost water based ink for porous applications (valvejet) or a solvent based for non-porous applications (plunger style valvejet) and are available in a variety of colors. As with our all-in-one systems, the controllers provide for variable input fields and are simple to use. Both offer single or multi line printheads. Ink is supplied from a 5 gallon container. .
