Here are some of the ways Starrco's expert packers protect your uptime.
Packed not shrink wrapped
All packing skids are custom built to ensure panels, windows, and other contents are secured for transit.
The top and bottom of each skid has a plywood sheet, and we protect the sides with heavy cardboard when using OTR
USDOT
carriers. Steel bands secure the whole crate. As an extra precaution, all crates get a
Do Not Stack label
.
Custom boxes prevent damage
For parts, such as plastic extrusions, that don't fit well into crates, we make a cardboard box.
Maximizing box and truck space
Starrco packers fit everything as tightly as possible. This prevents damage and saves space on the truck.
Our dispatch team goes to the same trouble when loading the truck. Inflatable airbags sit between the boxes and the truck walls for extra cushioning when required.
Preventing forklift damage
We build skid runners at a 45-degree angle to prevent the bottom getting torn-off when the skid hits the dock.
Finding parts is fast because everything we ship has a label
We list the location of every part on our materials list. Installers can check the drawing and grab the right part with complete certainty.
Assembly ready means no in-field cutting
Every part is pre-engineered for fast install. With other modular systems, carpenters have to measure and cut parts. Not with Starrco - the install crew needs little more than drills and a few hand tools.
