Did You Miss it???
What a fantastic webinar we had in February! Our guest speaker was Dr. Rebecca Farrell, staff program and outreach director for NAMI, a member of the largest grassroots mental health organization in the United States, the National Alliance on Mental Illness. This was a very timely topic dealing with issues that arise daily in the national conversation about mental health and the impacts of pandemic isolation. especially among families and men.

Baltimore Convention Change/Update
Brothers, the Executive Board approved an action that the Baltimore convention be moved from 2022 to 2024. This removes a potential financial risk for 2022 and positions us well for increasing participation in a true triennial.
In place of national meetings in 2022 and 2023, we are planning for regional events that will be focused on themes/topics of interest and importance to our members. Province Presidents are being asked to assist in planning and designing these multi-regional events. The events can be retreats, meetings, workshops, or other designs to provide the membership with opportunities to gather, share, and learn. If you have suggestions or ideas about topics, locations, or presenters, please share these with your Diocesan Coordinators and Province Presidents as we begin to plan these events. We will keep you posted as we set up the events.

FEBRUARY--Prayer For humanity toward perceived enemies:
"O God of all nations and all peoples: our nation once, in time of war, forcibly interned in camps, without trial, and without just cause, many of our own people because of their Japanese ancestry. Grant us, by your grace, the strength and courage never again to treat as enemies any entire group of persons, solely because of the enmity of some members of that group, but to defend and preserve the basic human rights of all people, even in times of distress, for the sake of your Son who died for all." Amen (Internment of Japanese Americans, February 19 executive order)

Past President's Prayers
Here is a prayer that Past President Bob Dennis penned.
Jesus, My Savior Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, I have so much to be thankful for, and sometimes I forget to acknowledge how important you are in my life today. When times are bad, I am drawn closer to you, and when times are good I know you are walking with me in my journey. Thank you for guiding me in this journey to fulfill the purpose you have for my life. At times I am clueless about what You are planning for me, but I want to trust you more and believe that through you all things are possible. You died on the Cross for the forgiveness of my sins, those that are past, present, and future. Help me to live the fruits of the Spirit, showing love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness to people, becoming more like you. Give me the strength to demonstrate gentleness and self-control, and not be weary in doing good for others. I want to be faithful in my devotion to you, and I know you will always be working on my behalf. In Your name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Brotherhood Hymns We Shared Last Edition
"We have all felt it. Few things in the world are as powerful as music. It is a driving force behind culture & community. It motivates us, empowers us, accepts us & changes us. Being impacted by music is an incredible experience!"
- Music Mentors Online
Many chapters enjoy the opportunity to include music/hymns in their chapter meeting or events. Certainly, music and singing add to meetings. Traditionally, the hymn of the Brotherhood is "Jesus calls us; o'er the tumult" #549 and #550 in 1982 Hymnal.
Click the link below
We would like to know if your chapter includes music in events and what tunes you use. We know that some chapters like and use the hymn "Throw out a lifeline, there is someone to save."

Another hymn used on St. Andrew's Day is "When Christ our Lord to Andrew Cried."

Evangelism
The Brotherhood Collect
Almighty God, who gave such grace to your apostle Andrew, that he readily obeyed the call of your Son Jesus Christ, and brought his brother with him: Give us, who are called by your Holy Word, grace to follow him without delay, and to bring those near to us into his gracious presence; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God now nd forever. Amen

We invite you to attend The Gathering 2022 — an annual event provided by the Matthew 25 Initiative, one of the ministry initiatives within the Anglican Church in North America. This year's event takes place February 22-24, 2022 in El Paso, Texas, with a theme of Building Bridges: Peacemaking + Reconciliation + Conflict-Resolution.
Please consider attending if you're a Bridgebuilder who crosses divides, mends gaps, reconciles, makes peace, and brings close those who are far!
Each year, Matthew 25 Initiative designs The Gathering to be an amalgam of a retreat and a conference, offering Anglicans working, living, and serving across North America space to both breathe in encouragement and join fellow practitioners in finding ways to serve and love the most vulnerable, marginalized, and under-resourced populations.
Some highlights of this year's event include:
- Expert peacemakers and mediator presenters
- In-depth breakout sessions
- White papers and an art reconciliation encounter
- A full fiesta right at the border wall with mariachis
- Hike to overlook the borderplex and see its symbiotic relationship
- Meals catered by neighborhood moms who are leaders in Ciudad Nueva
Optional Silent Retreat before and a Border Encounter after the event.
