AP NEWS...
 Several of our TWAW ladies including myself were featured in the recent AP News Article on "Black Women and Guns". I started the Well Armed Woman South Atlanta Chapter IN April,2016 but all of a sudden...there's a HUGE Phenomenon about what we've BEEN doing for over a year. 

I'm glad to know WE have ALWAYS had place for women of all color to gather each month to Educate, Empower, and Equip ourselves about Gun Safety. Kudos to Dana Mitchell (the minister) Dr. Janella Burse (Obstetrics & Gynecologists), and Stayce Burns (Entreprenuer) for taking the time to be interviewed.

Girls Night Out At The Range
  8/3/17 - Girls Night at the Range - 6pm - 8pm at Stoddard's Midtown. Great way to meetup with other ladies and practice shoot. Especially If you're thinking about purchasing a new gun, this is a great way to familiarize yourself with a variety of guns and features by renting different guns.

Education and Training
TWAW has 14 Chapters in the State of Georgia. Our Georgia State Chapter Leader - Marybeth Crawford is offering to provide training for our chapter Members. Each Chapter Leader with TWAW has to be a Certified Basic Pistol Instructor but there are other certifications you may be interested in acquiring, Such As Range Safety Officer (RSO). Range Safety Officers do not provide instruction, their role is to help make sure everyone is following safety guidelines at the range.

 July's TWAW Meeting Was Awesome
It was so good seeing ALL of you ladies at our new Host Range - Stoddard's Midtown. I changed our meeting format and we ALL saw a major improvement in our shooting! Here's what some of you had to say -

"I also enjoyed yesterday's meeting. I felt more comfortable yesterday. I needed that so much and I think the dos and don'ts can never be said too much."
