Keep fats, oils and grease out of the drain

While enjoying your holiday cooking, be sure to keep fats, oils and grease (FOG) out of the drain. These can clog your pipes and cause backups in household plumbing. Examples of FOG include cooking grease, milk products, gravy, meat and sauces. Dispose of FOG in the trash, not down the drain.

Level 1 Drought

In response to a statewide drought declaration, Padre Dam has declared a Level 1 Drought as part of the District’s Water Shortage Contingency Plan. During Level 1, customers are encouraged to voluntarily reduce water use by 10 percent and consider participating in water conservation programs and incentives. Due to long-term investments in water reliability and conservation efforts the San Diego region continues to have reliable supplies despite statewide water conditions.
