"I HAVE A DREAM" FOUNDATION OF BOULDER COUNTY AWARDED $12,500 FROM HERBERT AND JUDY PAIGE FAMILY FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT ELK CLASS DREAMER SCHOLARS

BOULDER - June 10, 2020 : The Herbert & Judy Paige Family  Foundation has reaffirmed its continued work with the "I Have A Dream" Foundation of Boulder County, including a commitment to sponsor five students in the IHDF Elk Class for 10 years. This critical support will ensure that each student receives the academic, social, and emotional support necessary to reach college or vocational training, receive up to $10,000 in post-secondary tuition assistance, and start a successful career. Today, our partnership is more important than ever before to support and anchor the conditions for all children - regardless of income - to thrive. The Paige Foundation committed to sponsoring students in the Elk Class in 2016.

"I Have A Dream" does not charge tuition or fees for any of its programs, making this continued support essential.

The Paige Foundation  was  founded in 2000 by Herbert and Judy Paige on the  strong belief that "the education of youth is the most efficient and effective method of improving the welfare, condition, and future of all communities, citizens and families. The basis of all human improvement begins with education."

Sponsors like the Paige Foundation are instrumental in helping to mold our community's future and make a difference in the individual lives of youth.

In the words of Dreamer Scholars:

"It's amazing how much "I Have A Dream" has changed my grades - not only that, but changed me in general. They help with things that your teachers don't have time for. They'll give you more freedom but still make sure you stay on task."

"They gave me an opportunity to begin creating my life's path one step at a time. I was able to attend and graduate from the college of my dreams. It has built the foundation for me to be able to achieve my wildest dreams."
