DEAR CHRISTIAN WARRIORS:
Hebrews 12:25-29 amplified version is right on point: " So see to it that you do not reject Him or refuse to listen to and heed Him Who is speaking [to you now]. For if they [the Israelites] did not escape when they refused to listen and heed Him Who warned and divinely instructed them [here] on earth [revealing with heavenly warnings His will], how much less shall we escape if we reject and turn our backs on Him Who cautions and admonishes [us] from heaven?
Then [at Mount Sinai] His voice shook the earth, but now He has given a promise: Yet once more I will shake and make tremble not only the earth but also the [starry] heavens. Now this expression, Yet once more, indicates the final removal and transformation of all [that can be] shaken—that is, of that which has been created—in order that what cannot be shaken may remain and continue.Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm andstable and cannot be shaken, offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship, with modesty and pious care and godly fear and awe; For our God [is indeed] a consuming fire."
Right on point is also Joel 2:9-13 amplified version: " They leap upon the city; they run upon the wall; they climb up on and into the houses; they enter in at the windows like a thief. The earth quakes before them; the heavens tremble. The sun and the moon are darkened and the stars withdraw their shining. And the Lord utters His voice before His army, for His host is very great, and [they are] strong and powerful who execute [God’s] word. For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible, and who can endure it? Therefore also now, says the Lord, turn and keep on coming to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning [until every hindrance is removed and the broken fellowship is restored]. Rend your hearts and not your garments and return to the Lord, your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in loving-kindness; and He revokes His sentence of evil [when His conditions are met].
What happened in Joel is what is happening in America: God is allowing Painful things to happen in America to awaken His church in all nations to His GIFT of repentance.
God keeps refining and perfecting His search until His Bride is found “without spot or wrinkle” holy and without blemish. (Ephesians 5:27
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
~2 Corinthians 11:2 (KJV)
So now, after Charlie Kirk's murder, to pick up your cross boldly to follow Jesus, may I suggest a process: 1) check to see if you've sincerely repented, turned from self to Almighty God your Creator; 2) repent and join by renewed faith His Kingdom (Matthew 4:17); 3) be filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19,23); and 4) then ask the indwelling Holy Spirit His call on your brief life as set forth in John 15:16-20(amplified): " You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I Am], He may give it to you. This is what I command you: that you love one another. If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you belonged to the world, the world would treat you with affection and would love you as its own. But because you are not of the world [no longer one with it], but I have chosen (selected) you out of the world, the world hates (detests) you. Remember that I told you, A servant is not greater than his master [is not superior to him]. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word and obeyed My teachings, they will also keep and obey yours."
Repenting, and then receiving His precise call on your unique life, will give you a deep, eternal joy that is your strength for the days ahead. (Nehemiah 8:10).
Clearly, Charlie Kirk found that call, had that JOY, and fulfilled his call very, very well.
