Paintersville Bridge is one of the Delta Bridges that expands over the Sacramento River. It was originally constructed in the early 1920s then reconstructed/ refurbished in the early 1950s. The upgrades will help the bridges be more resistant to seismic activity. Motorists plan accordingly, expect delays and use alternate routes.
