I want to thank the brave souls that survived the rain yesterday to attend our Business After Hours Mingle at Yellow Dog Café.  Stuart & Nancy Borton were fabulous hosts and provided amazing food for everyone.  Stuart’s glazed citrus chicken and dog bone brownie were definitely my favorites. 

This Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. is the drop off for the Business Women of Brevard Swap Meet on Tuesday, February 28th from 8:00 - 9:30 a.m.  We are accepting purses, jewelry, clothing, accessories, and shoes.  Members receive one ticket for every item they drop off, while non-members receive one ticket for every two items they drop off.  We will organize all the dropped off merchandise for Tuesday so that the clothes and shoes will be by size and purses and jewelry and scarves will be set up on tables.  You will be able to use your tickets to get items you would like, one ticket for one item.  Whatever is left over, it will be donated to the Brevard Humane Society and their Molly Mutt Thrift Store.  

This is your opportunity to de-clutter your closet and get some “New to You” items.  As usual, breakfast will be provided for the Tuesday meeting of Business Women of Brevard.  This is a different type of meeting, but we hope you join us for the fun and networking experience.

Finally, next Wednesday is our Monthly Luncheon.  Our keynote speaker is Nancy Potts, Sr. Economic Development Manager at NASA.  This should be an exciting and informative luncheon.
