CHAMBER INTEL

Message from the President
The Chili Cook Off is this Saturday from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Space Coast Harley Davidson.  We have advertising everywhere from Billboards, Channel 13 Community Calendar, Hometown News, Florida Today, Savings Safari, Spotlight Magazine, Banners, lawn signs and tons of social media.  It is not too late to enter as a contestant or vendor, so if you want to register for the last spots, do it by clicking in here.  We think it will be a great turnout and we want to ensure there is enough chili for everyone.  If you have been on the fence about participating, please call the Chamber at (321) 951-9998.

On Thursday 16th, Ted Seymour is teaching “6 Steps to Achieving Your Goals”.  This two-hour training will be held at the Chamber.  Mark your calendar for our Business After Hours Mingle at the Yellow Dog Café on Wednesday, February 22nd from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.  Network, mingle, have a drink and some appetizers while enjoying the fabulous river view.

We are in need of some volunteers from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Friday 24th and 9:00 a.m. - 12 m. Saturday 25th to help with the Business Women of Brevard Swap drop off.  On these two days, we will be at Larsen Motorsports to collect purses, jewelry, clothing and shoes.  Get one ticket for every item you drop off.  Nonmembers get one ticket for every two items.

On Tuesday, February 28th our regular meeting will be a swap meet.  You will use your tickets to exchange for merchandise you see on display.  Any leftover merchandise will be donated to the Brevard Humane Society Molly Mutt Thrift Store.  You will get items “New to You” while de-cluttering your closet of items you have not worn in months, maybe years.  If you are able to volunteer during the Friday and Saturday drop off times, please call the office.  I hope to see many of you out at the Chili Cook Off.

Have a wonderful weekend.

All the best,

Nancy Peltonen
President/CEO
