Now more than ever, the Church needs our steadfast support. Our participation in our parish’s weekly offertory and in the Annual Catholic Appeal is essential to maintaining the financial well-being of the Church.

Just as we rely on your spiritual support, the Church continues to rely on your financial support to continue its work of sanctification and evangelization.

You can make your gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal online at annualcatholicappeal.com, or you can choose to send in the response envelope from the Cardinal’s letter you may have already received. YOUTH MINISTRY CORNER

In the spirit of this penitential season, Mr. Van offers this Teen Lenten Challenge. Each week he'll provide 2 of the stations of the cross, including a reflection for each station and then offer a penance challenge for the week at the end of each email.  If you haven't already selected a penance for this Lent or would like to make your Lenten season even more meaningful, give it a try! (Adults can participate too! )  So, here we go...

Contact Mr. Van for the reflection for Stations 11 and 12. Your challenge this week: Make a special effort to go to individual confession this week. Take some real serious time to examine your conscience and determine what you have done that you know in your heart offends God and how you intend to amend your life in gratitude for this most amazing sacrifice that Jesus endured for us. When you accept your penance, do what you’re advised by the priest and a little something extra for someone else that you would not normally do because it requires you to go out of your way. Show Christ that you would have gone out of your way for Him along the way of the cross by doing for one of His least ones.

Youth Ministry will again present the Living Stations of the Cross for the parish on Good Friday. Rehearsals will be on Sundays at 3pm and begin the first Sunday of Lent, February 18th, at St. Julian Eymard Church.
